Every now and again, we should take stock, take inventory or make an assessment of where we are in our lives. We should be prepared to make this honest inquiry into the various channels of our lives. This is where you separate the men from the boys and the women from the girls. We should be prepared to answer "Am I making progress, am I stagnant or have I gone backwards? Not too many people are willing to answer these questions because facing the truth about any of the answers means we would then have to do something about it. Many people are too lazy to make the assessment because it means more work for them.
It baffles my mind to encounter people who want more, but haven't done much with that which they already have. I don't understand it. It must be some new kind of math. Well I know adding 0 to what you have will never bring increase. That math equation is not the correct formula for addition. Even God’s plan for more has always been more than adding something to something. God's math equation into any situation has always included a double formula: Additional and multiplication. Increase all around. If we really assess our lives and come up negative, we are using the wrong equations. Maybe you made up your own math. However if God's equation had been used, trust me, you'd be multiplied by now. If you are not, you have the wrong equation operating in your life.
